The strategic
objectives of postgraduate training of Hue University in the
coming years are:

focusing on investing
and mobilizing all resources, aiming to improve the quality
comprehensively
-
increasing training
scope
-
expanding careers and
diversifying graduate training forms
All of these objectives aim at meeting the demands of highly
qualified human resources with stable learning and good skills
in the process of industrialization and modernization of the
country in general and of the Central Vietnam in particular.
1.
Keping a balance between increasing scale and quality assurance:
properly broadening training scale in combination with
increasing training quality. Diversifying training forms, giving
priority to opening graduate training courses in remote and
difficult areas to help standardize the staff.
2. Improving syllabus and teaching methods
of the graduate training courses: ensuring that the
syllabus must be closely

connected with the
training objectives of Master and PhD levels, relying on the new
curriculum of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.
Trying to reach the regional standard in postgraduate training,
ensuring that the degrees provided are comparable to those in
other ASEAN countries.
3. Upgrading facilities:
combining different financial resources, including those from
foreign sponsors, to gradually upgrade, modernize and newly
equip the laboratories, experiment centers and teaching
facilities; making use of modern means of communication such as
e-libraries, compact disks and the internet to serve training
activities, especially for graduate training.
4.
Intensifying scientific research and international cooperations
in graduate training: combining scientific research with
graduate training activities. Speeding up international cooperations to the advantage of the process of enhancing
training quality, creating correspondence in the curriculum and
equivalence in qualifications, broadening opportunities to
integrate with the regions and the whole world, as well as to
exchange lecturers, scientists, graduate and postgraduate
students between Hue University and foreign Universities
