A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF HUE UNIVERSITY

Founded in 1957, Hue University is a major academic hub for Central Vietnam. Recognized as a prestigious training and research institution for all of Vietnam, and proud of its unique academic tradition, Hue University has commissioned philosophies in keeping with the challenge of the new millennium.

Hue University is partnering with mass organisations in the community to determine and to fill the professional employment needs of Central Vietnam as well as the whole country, through the following means:

• Heightened participation and awareness of students toward employment potential in Central Viet Nam including the Central Highlands.

• Concentration of scientific and technological research and development resources as a top priority toward supporting community and national goals.

• Cultivation of mutually advantageous relationships with the international academic community for the purpose of:

• attracting the collaborations of qualified international teachers and researchers.

• attracting international students for education and research opportunities (in an incubating environment).

• promoting an academic atmosphere which values excellence.

• promoting an environment both nurturing and productive.
